Creating a Book Nook

This client was in the midst of a major renovation to turn their attic space into a welcoming guest suite when they reached out. After making so many decisions, they wanted help picking finishes and wallpaper to create a whimsical book nook that a guest could also comfortably sleep in. Their hope was to pick something cheery that didn’t read ‘playroom’. We landed on a gorgeous Sandberg wallpaper with a coordinating berry-colored performance fabric for the cushion. We also painted the whole room a warm white and selected oil-rubbed bronze finishes to lean into their more traditional style.
